What to Expect
Your Office Visit
On your first visit, the doctor will sit down with you to take a full history of your condition and perform a comprehensive physical exam to evaluate you as a whole. She will then structurally assess your physical condition by using the palpatory skills and apply manipulation techniques.
Services Provided by the Clinic
Please note that Tennessee Osteopathic Medicine is a specialty clinic for osteopathic evaluations and manipulations only. Your visit with us does not replace an annual physical exam performed by a primary care provider.
Moreover, consult a primary care provider's office for any routine blood work, medication refills, cancer or cardiovascular health screening, vaccines, or work-related paperwork. Any acute condition that requires immediate conventional medical attention also needs to be first addressed by a primary care, urgent care, or emergency department.
